The UNI 11031:2003 standard is a national standard that establishes the qualification requirements for a Management System for residential and semi-residential facilities for people with problems related to 'use of or dependence on drugs and / or psychotropic substances.

The UNI 11031:2003 standard proposes the following typological classification of residential and semi-residential structures:

• therapeutic-rehabilitative services;
• specialized treatment services;
• pedagogical-rehabilitation services .
