This year began with the establishment of MTIC EurAsia Eğitim Test ve Belgelendirme Hizmetleri A.Ş. (MTIC EurAsia) in Türkiye. Operating from Istanbul and Ankara, MTIC EurAsia strengthens our global footprint, serving Türkiye, neighboring countries, and Gulf and Asian nations.
Key highlights:
- Istanbul Office: Regional headquarters, focusing on testing, inspection, certification, and training.
- Ankara Office: Specializes in Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and ISO 13485 conformity assessment.
This expansion reflects our dedication to client proximity and exceptional service delivery.
2. Enhanced Testing Capabilities at MTIC InterCert Laboratories
Our laboratories in Rho and Fiume Veneto, Italy, achieved significant milestones this year:
- Extended EMC Testing Accreditation: Recognized by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), we now offer a broader range of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests to support global clients' product development and compliance efforts.
- Services include emissions tests, immunity tests, and more, ensuring top-tier testing solutions.
3. Recognition as a Notified Body for MDR Compliance
MTIC InterCert was officially designated as a Notified Body (CE 0068) under the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745. This recognition by the Italian Ministry of Health and European Commission highlights our pivotal role in assessing medical device conformity for the EU market.
Beyond regulatory compliance, our accredited laboratories ensure safety and quality with cutting-edge testing services for electrical safety, EMC, and chemical composition.

4. New Beginnings: Relocation of MTIC India Office
MTIC India inaugurated its new office at Malleswaram, Bengaluru, reflecting our commitment to growth in the Indian market. Accredited by the Indian NABCB and CDSCO, MTIC India offers comprehensive services, including:
- Certification for ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
- Food safety auditing (FSSAI).
This relocation is a testament to our global vision of reaching diverse clients with localized expertise.
5. Industry Engagements: MEDICA 2024 & Regulatory Affairs Day
MEDICA 2024: MTIC InterCert participated in the world-renowned MEDICA fair in Düsseldorf (November 11–14, 2024), engaging with industry innovators and leaders to discuss the latest trends in medical technology and certification.
Regulatory Affairs Day (RADay2024): Held in Rome on October 16, MTIC InterCert contributed to discussions on MDR and IVDR. Dr. Antonio Brando presented insights on optimizing clinical data collection for conformity assessments.
